Brand Ambassador

MiniDates.com technology startup that's about to launch a new mobile & web-based matchmaking service in NYC that is going to revolutionize online dating. The service is geared towards busy 25+ professionals who find the current dating services too time-consuming and frustrating. It is NOT a hookup or sex service - it's for low-key dating.

We're looking for male and female promoters/ ambassadors IMMEDIATELY who can represent the brand in public venues and get early signups. Your job will be to talk to people about the service and get their email address in a simple online signup form (email is all we ask for right now). In exchange, they get FREE early access to the site!

We need outgoing, attractive, well-groomed, extremely sociable and articulate people (men and women) to go to different kinds of events in Brooklyn and primarily Manhattan. Events might range from business and technology networking events to bars, clubs and coffee shops, to expos, to midtown lunch spaces, to the greenmarkets or Brooklyn flea during the weekend. Anywhere with LOTS of professional singles is fair game!

The work is immediate,part-time, and there are events every night and most days, especially Wed-Sun, for at least a month and likely longer. Shifts are 4 hours from 6-10 weeknights, 8-12 weekends (Fri & Sat) and 11-3 weekend days.

REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have a smartphone and be familiar with how it works and willing to use your phone throughout your shift. You will be registering people on your phone on your web browser. Iphone or Android are both fine.
- MUST be socially outgoing and very, very assertive. You'll need to feel 100% comfortable going up to strangers to talk to them.
- MUST be a great verbal communicator- persuasive, convincing, magnetic. You need to LOVE people and love talking to them!
- MUST be very attractive, and look "professional". You must include a headshot and body shot in your application
- MUST be able to think on your feet
- MUST be very eager, have a lot of drive and energy and be self-managing
- MUST have some basic familiarity with online dating services - how other services work and what it's like to use them.
- MUST be highly reliable, on-time, and professional and courteous in your communications

NICE TO HAVE
- BA or college education
- background working in online dating, with other street and brand promotions, acting, sales, business development, telemarketing and/or modeling
