Tour manager with Cook experience

We are looking for 1 Tour Manager with cook experience  to manage a 1 day event on August 18th in Austin, TX. Even though this is a 1 day event, you must be available from August 15 to August 19.

Program Dates
- August 15 – August 19

Responsibilities
- Drive a ¾ ton truck with a 16’ dually trailer from Conroe, TX to Austin, TX and back
- Truck and trailer maintenance (oil and filter changes, check tire pressure, battery, cables, generator, etc)
- Check fire extinguishers
- Secure any required permits (fire, propane, health, catering, etc.)
- Purchase truck supplies
- Grilling and cooking
- Setup and Tear Down
- Manage a team of 6 – 7 brand ambassadors
- Pictures and daily report
- Heavy interactions with consumers

Requirements
- Experience driving trucks and trailers
- 3+ years tour management experience
- CDL a big plus but not required
- Must be in compliance with all DOT laws and regulations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (No DUI or moving violations in the past 7 years)
- Must be able to maintain log books and daily truck inspections
- You must have grilling or cooking experience
- Must have a food handling certification
- Experience promoting BBQ cook offs and comestibles
- Outgoing personality
- Bilingual a plus (English - Spanish)
- Clean background (No convictions)
- Ability to lift 60 pounds or more multiple times
- MUST be available for the entire duration of the program
- Local Candidates preferred
