Love the latest gadgets and technology?  We are seeking tech savvy tour staff to assist in the latest video chat technology tour!
GMR is a leader in event marketing; we source and hire the top candidates across the nation.  Read the details below and apply via the link if interested and available.
 
Our client has the latest device in the video chat concept. 
There will be 4 tour teams that will assist the client in getting their name out there and developing brand awareness.
 
Teams:
East Coast
West Coast
Mid-West
South-Central
*there will be a team of two for each region
 
Dates:
7/24/12 – 10/1/12
(on the road continuously)
 
Venues:
The teams will execute at local community events, concerts and festivals. There also may be potential for some guerilla events.
 
Vehicle:
Each team will be responsible for driving a branded SUV.  This will require a valid driver’s license as well as having a clean driving record.
 
Set up/Footprint:
Set up will take about 1 hour.  This includes a 10X10 tent and 2 kiosks.  The SUV will also have a slide out that will contain mobile devices.
 
Work Week:
Typical week will be about 3-4 events.  Each event will range from 3-10 hours/day.
 
Event Overview:
The team will have 1-2 local staff to assist in each market.
The team will conduct demonstrations of the video chat, play music from the vehicle, assist consumers in registering (free) for the technology and some data capture.
 
Uniform:
A shirt, hat and jacket will be provided.  Own khaki pants or shorts and clean comfortable shoes.
 
Responsibilities:
Act as main contact on-site between events, retailers, the general public and the press.
Confirm promotion details including, but not limited to: exact location of promotion, host dates, host times, event set-up and tear-down times, price specials, prizes or promotions for the event, and security arrangements.
Secure area and confirm physical boundaries of the event site.
Direct and perform the cleaning and maintaining of the event site during and after the event.
Ensure each event is operated with the safety of staff and the general public in mind.
Manage event activities, contests and giveaways and participate when applicable.
Event Reporting, including but not limited to, recaps, tracking attendance, and photo/videos.
Handle all event problems quickly and professionally.
Collect and forward all field and temporary employee’s timesheets to GMR for payment.
Train on-site personnel (temporaries).
File bi-weekly expense reports.
Other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
Candidates must be available to travel during the time frame stated above.
Candidates must be able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions as well as stand for long periods of time.
Candidates that are tech savvy and have tour experience are preferred.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
Candidates must be 21 years or older due to rental/driving policies of the company.
